What to expect
Leaving Florence with your English-speaking driver, your first stop will be an organic cheese maker in the Chianti region. You'll be introduced to the world of cheese making, to its history and legends. Since you will stop at an organic farm, you will also enjoy tasting organic extra virgin olive oil. Lunch on a tiny dairy farm will be a great chance to taste the farming goat cheese with other local food specialties.

The experience will end with a homemade lunch made with their cheese. If the weather helps, we could sit in the open garden to enjoy the beautiful view over the Chianti shire. The family that runs the dairy will unveil the secrets of the ancient art of cheese and let you taste some excellent goat cheese.
Winery visit
Afterward, stop at the prestigious winery in Chianti Rufina. You can admire the beautiful vineyard setting right in front of the cellar. After an informative visit to the beautiful ancient cellar, you will gather in the small wine-tasting room for an authentic wine tasting of Chianti, Riserva, and Supertuscan wines. This is a winery that also produces excellent extra-virgin olive oil.

If you have booked a Single (private or shared) day tour, cancellation terms are:
• Up to 30 days before: we will return the deposit minus administration fees
• 29 – 8 days: Deposit
• 7 – 4 days: 50% of tour cost
• 3 days or less to date of departure: 100% of tour cost.
Children on PRIVATE TOURS
- Children between 4-16 yrs, we will calculate the cost of the tour according to the number of adults, plus € 50 per child (this cost, of course, doesn't include the wine tasting)
- Infants between 1-3 yrs are free. Children's seat will be provided for upon request.

Pier was an incredible tour guide. He picked us up on time, was so nice, and taught us a lot about Italy and Wine! We did the private wine and cheese tour in Chianti. Pier took us to boutique vineyards, so we got to meet the people behind it and learn how it works. We ate DELICIOUS food, drank INCREDIBLE wine, and met the KINDEST people.
