A perfect day in Tuscany for all ages!

My friend and I, along with our teenage daughters (17 and 19), joined the Castles and Chianti wine tour at the end of July, and it quickly became the highlight of our week in Italy! I was initially concerned about bringing teens on a full-day wine tour, since neither is particularly interested in wine, but Fabian’s storytelling and deep knowledge of the wineries captivated all of us. We visited two beautiful, small wineries in the Tuscan countryside, where we tasted a total of 10 wines and some grappa. There was absolutely no pressure to buy, although the wines were so exceptional that we ended up sending home 12 bottles. Between the wineries, we stopped at a lovely restaurant for lunch, complete with wine, making the experience even more enjoyable. The group was very small — just the four of us plus another couple — which made the day feel intimate and personalized. Fabian also shared excellent tips on local restaurants and Tuscan beaches, adding even more value to the tour. It was truly an amazing and educational day for both adults and teens alike!
