The Wine Growing Region

Montespertoli is a wine region about 200 meters above sea level characterized by reasonably regular hill slopes. It’s exposed in a context of significant variability. A general dynamism under the pedological profile also describes the terrain. Pliocene marls, clays, and hamlets of Alberese allow the extraction of a magnificent variety of wine, a profound expression of the territory.

What to expect

Begin your day of wine tasting in Montespertoli Valley with pickup directly at a local meeting point in Florence before stopping at your first winery of the day for a tour and tasting. Sample a unique sparkling wine and enjoy lunch while your guide shares insights about the area’s wine-making history and production. After lunch, continue with your driver and small group to another boutique Chianti winery for a tour and tasting, plus time to make purchases (optional; extra cost). You can imbibe worry-free with all-day transport between the wineries. Your wine-tasting excursion ends with a drop-off back at the meeting point.

If you have booked a Single (private or shared) day tour, cancellation terms are:
• Up to 30 days before: we will return the deposit minus administration fees
• 29 – 8 days: Deposit
• 7 – 4 days: 50% of tour cost
• 3 days or less to date of departure: 100% of tour cost.

Children on PRIVATE TOURS
- Children between 4-16 yrs, we will calculate the cost of the tour according to the number of adults, plus € 50 per child (this cost, of course, doesn't include the wine tasting)
- Infants between 1-3 yrs are free. Children's seat will be provided for upon request.
