We chose this Tuscany tour from Florence because it offered a unique combination of truffle hunting, a truffle-themed lunch, and a visit to a Chianti winery — plus the chance to meet an adorable truffle-hunting dog! The experience was perfectly paced, and our guide, Hillary, was incredibly knowledgeable about Chianti wines, Tuscan cuisine, and regional traditions. As a certified sommelier with years of experience in the wine industry, Hillary helped us discover some of the best local wines, prosciutto, and olive oils to try while in Tuscany. The entire 6-hour tour gave us a deeper appreciation of Tuscan food, wine, art, and even fashion culture (we loved learning that some of Italy’s most famous fashion families live in Florence!). If you’re visiting Florence and want to enjoy an authentic wine and truffle hunting experience in Tuscany, we highly recommend this tour. It’s educational, delicious, and unforgettable!
