A truly memorable wine experience from Florence!

During our stay in Florence, we were eager to experience a Tuscan wine tour — and choosing this one turned out to be a fantastic decision! By sheer luck, what was meant to be a shared group tour became a private experience for just the two of us. Vittorio was an incredible host — warm, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about wine. Our day began with a scenic 50-minute drive to the medieval town of San Gimignano, a charming place with breathtaking views across the rolling Tuscan hills. Our first stop was a family-run winery, where we toured the vineyards and cellar while learning about their production methods. The highlight was a delicious three-course lunch infused with their homegrown saffron, each dish beautifully paired with a different white wine — even converting me, a devoted red wine drinker! To top it off, they also offered a tasting of their red wine. We continued to a second winery, where we sampled around eight wines, both reds and whites, all exceptional in quality. The hosts at both estates were welcoming and deeply knowledgeable, making the entire experience unforgettable. This day was undoubtedly one of the best parts of our trip. Huge thanks to Vittorio and everyone at the wineries for such a wonderful and personalized experience!
