Chianti & Super Tuscan 3 Wineries

We had a fabulous wine tour and really enjoyed Matteo’s narratives about the region. The small vineyard we had lunch at was the true highlight of our two week adventure throughout Italy. I cannot recommend this tour enough!

We had an amazing time with our host Giovanni. He was incredibly knowledgeable of the Chianti region, as well as an in depth knowledge of many wine regions throughout the world. He described the process and evolution of wine making over time, and described the many microclimates that effect the region. We went to three very different wineries -all amazing in their own way, and enjoyed a lovely meal together. There was no shortage of conversation, and the time was very well spent. I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in sampling some of this regions fine wines. Thank you! ??????????

Best day of my Italy trip. We went to 3 different wineries each with their own distinct feel and speciality. The wine and food was amazing. Our tour guide Niccolo was the best. As an aspiring sommelier and local, he brought additional context and insights that made the trip so much better. He was more knowledgeable about wine than the staff at the wineries. Awesome day.

Booking a tour online is always a risk, so when we saw our young tour guide Niccolo, our first thought was that he couldn’t possibly have much knowledge- but boy were we wrong! Not only was he cute and gracious, he possessed a wealth of information about wine and could answer any questions. He had actually worked at a winery and was studying to become a sommelier. The wineries we visited were all great and the lunch was wonderful - to say the owner was entertaining is an understatement. It was a great day.

It was our first day in Tuscany, and we were definitely right to choose this winery trips with our fantastic guide and skillful driver Shiva. All the boutique but historic wineries served us with impressive Chianti Classico and Super Tuscans (and the wonderful lunch at Montiani). It was a memorable experience and we would highly recommend it!

Absolutely a 5-star tour and one of the highlights of our trip in Italy! We did the Chianti & Super Tuscan 3 winery tour with Andrea on April 18th and it just truly just phenomenal. We loved the small group nature of the tour, as it was just my husband, myself, and one other guest. The three wineries we went to were all very different, but amazing in its own. The second winery we visited, Tenuta Montiani, was absolutely our favorite spot on our the tour and one of the most interesting wineries we have ever been too (and we've gone to alot). Mischa was an incredible host, who was serving up some of the best dishes, and just clean and simple food and wine. Overall, I could not have asked for a better tour and better experience. I would absolutely recommend this tour if you are looking for a knowledgeable guide who genuinely cares about the wine and region, and ensuring that we were learning along the way. If you're looking for a big group tour just to get wasted, this isn't it. This is for those that want to appreciate the wine and experience. Absolutely a 10/10 experience with Andrea

Great wine tour with an awesome guide! Andrea is very knowledge about wine and the region. He is also personable, he was interested in getting to know us so he can bring out some areas that are more of our interests. He is also a safe driver. The itinerary and the pace of visiting 3 different types of wineries were just right. The lunch at the second winery was deliciously cooked locally sourced dishes. The people at the wineries were also great and fun. We had a blast and would definitely book with them again in the future. Thank you!

It’s hard to begin to describe how magical of a day it was on the Chianti and Super Tuscan wine tour. To start, Andrea was the most genuine, authentic and inspiring tour guide that I have ever had. He made the experience seamless, from taking us place to place and describing the scenery around us, to also helping us discover much more about the wines we were tasting than could ever be imagined. The people we met along the way at each winery were special in their own right too, as well as every wine we tasted. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone that asked me about a Tuscany wine tour in a heart beat. I only hope to have the privilege to be able to go on this tour again one day. Grazie mille!!!

Our experience with Italy & Wine was phenomenal. Filippo was our guide and he was incredibly knowledgeable about Wine and all things Tuscany. His passion for his homeland was palpable and his local contacts and friendships with the wineries that he took us to allowed for an unforgettable experience. He was kind and so genuine. Our last stop was a serene stroll through the vineyards, munching on fresh grapes and enjoying three unique wines from Chianti. We highly recommend it to fellow wine enthusiasts. Chianti has truly won our hearts!

The tour began well. Everyone was there. 1st stop went extremely well. 2nd stop was my absolute favorite wine tasting ever. The lunch served was wonderful and talking to the wine maker was inspiring. The 3rd stop was a little anticlimactic. Wine was not on par with the other 2 stops. We did 2 wine tours with this company and they are not inexpensive. I expected a bit more from only 3 wineries. We ordered wine from 2 of the 3 wineries. I would recommend if they make some adjustments to the schedule.

I have to say that this is one of the best wine tours I have experienced. The guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. All three stops was great, but the lunch was spectacular. Thanks for a great experience. Next we are in Florence we will try the truffle tour.

Had the best time today visiting three fabulous wineries in the Chianti wine country! All three were friendly, warm, and very welcoming. The wines were all excellent and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We were very lucky to be on the tour so it felt very private and we were also lucky to have a fantastic driver and wine expert in Matteo Perinti. Our tour was everything we hoped it would be and more. Each winery showcased a different location, process, philosophy, and 3 delicious wines. Lunch was unforgettable, and all the views of Tuscany were what we had dreamt of for so long. All that said, it was our guide Julia that made the day truly special for us. Her depth of knowledge, enthusiasm, and taste brought everything together perfectly. She’s just so cool and charming, we felt very much at ease and that we spent the day with a friend. On a recent trip to Italy, we were lucky enough to book one of your tours! Our guide, Mateo was fantastic! He is incredibly knowledgeable about all of the wines of Italy and was able to share so much about the historical significance of the industry. He is also warm, inclusive, and has a wonderful sense of humor. My husband is a wine aficionado and thoroughly enjoyed a lively discussion with Mateo about his own tastes in wine and about the producers he frequently purchases. The incredible beauty of Tuscany only added to what was already an amazing experience. We definitely plan to book again on our next trip.

I have to say that the wine tour was the highlight of our trip. The selection of wineries was absolutely perfect. They were so cool and places that we would have never found on our own. Filipe was also an incredible guide. However, getting to visit Tenuto Montiani was something incredibly special. We did so many tours on this trip and this soooooo much better than every other tour we did. this tour will be a "must-do" for anyone we know that is going to Florence in the future. I booked this tour for my wife and I on our honeymoon and it was one of the most incredible experiences. We both loved the wineries our incredible tour guide Filippo took us to, and learned so much. Of all the things we did, this was one that we will always talk about and remember. Filippo has brilliant taste , and just an incredible person all around. We really loved our time with him and the other couple we were with, as well as the amazing views, weather, food and wine. We are planning to come back to spend more time in this region and would do this again in a heartbeat. 10/10 would recommend.

We had a great time on the Chianti and Supertuscan tour! Our guide, Filippo, was incredibly knowledge about the wines of the region and personable. We loved each of the 3 wineries we visited— great wine, informative tastings, a delicious lunch, and even an adorable winery dog (Spritz)! This was an absolutely fabulous experience. Highly recommend, a great way to see Tuscany's wine county and meet some winemakers that are producing an incredible product. We booked a few tours with this group and each day was awesome. We had Giovanni for this tour and another and he a world class guide. Super knowledgeable about wine, Florentine history, and world history. We learned a ton on this tour and overall had a wonderful time.

Had a great time on the super Tuscan wine tour with Matteo. It was so convenient, they drove us everywhere. They selected AMAZING wineries in the Chianti Classico region, and we ate and drank magnificently. There were only 6 of us, plus our guide, so we enjoyed how individual the trip was. Food was spectacular. Views were spectacular. Matteo was great. Will 100% do another tour next time we're in Italy, probably the truffle tour because it sounded delightful. Also, I never write google reviews because I honestly don't care enough, but this was amazing enough to leave a review. Worth every penny.

Wonderful experience on our wine tour. My wife and I could not have enjoyed it more. If you are going to on wine tour you should do a smaller group. We were able to come close with the others on the tour, the guide and even the owners of the three wineries we visited. Our guide was great and was really excited to spend the day with us and show us Italy a beautiful part of the country. I was scared that I would not enjoy the wines, as I am not a huge red wine drinker, but I loved every wine I drank. The lunch we had at the second winery was the best meal I had in Italy

I so enjoyed our day visiting 3 beautiful wineries. Our host Mattel is so much fun. He clearly loves his work and sharing his passion for wine. The wineries tucked into the Tuscan hills was picture perfect. Lunch at one of the vineyards was amazing. Highly recommend this lovely relaxing wine tasting experience.

To visit Tuscany and do a wine tour was one item definitely on my bucket list. On a recent tour of Europe, my friend and I took a side step and booked this fabulous tour at the very last minute. Vittorio picked us up from Central Florence, which was easy and took us and two other girls to three magnificent vineyards in the beautiful Tuscan countryside. Our first stop was Tenuta La Novella where we were welcomed by Josie. What a fabulous vineyard set high in the Tuscan Hills. Vittorio shared his excellent knowledge of the wines as did Josie about the process of making wine. We were treated with generous tastings and also locally grown olive oil, which was amazing. We were then treated with a fabulous lunch by Michel at Tenuta Montiani Winery who was as passionate about his food as his wine. It was such a treat to indulge in locally grown products and recipes that had been handed down in generations. Michel made us feel right at home and, as one would expect, we overindulged! Our final winery was La Sala where we were well looked after by Lorenzo. Lorenzo was so much fun, very knowledgeable and also had a fantastic sense of humor.  Again, the wines were amazing. I fell in love with Tuscany even more, when I thought I couldn't. After a fantastic day, Vittorio was kind enough to take us to an amazing scenic lookout where we were able to take fabulous photos of the beautiful city of Florence. I honestly thought I had died and gone to heaven....and I did say, that if I died right then, I was going to die happy. I would certainly recommend this tour. Vittorio was very knowledgeable and all the hosts at the wineries made us feel more than welcome. Now on my bucket list is a return to Tuscany and to stay in a Tuscan Villa

My wife and I did a two-week vacation in Italy and this Tuscany Wine Tour was the best part of the trip! Matteo was excellent and we strongly recommend him. On the way to the first winery, he took us to Piazzale Michelangelo. I mentioned I like photography and he was nice enough to recommend a great photo vantage point. He took us to three wineries and throughout the trip provided us with wine history and areas of interest at the level we could understand. He also spoke excellent English. The first winery was family owned and a beautiful view. We got there just in time before they harvested! Matteo then took us to the second winery (also family owned), where we had a home cooked lunch from the owner who also loves to cook in addition to making wine. He used locally grown honey from his mother in law and we had all sorts of cheeses and antipasti, followed by the best carbonara we've ever had. His wine was amazing and definitely, recommend both of these small wineries. We then went to a large winery which was much different but still extremely good. Throughout the day Matteo always had great information to share and not only was very personable but was the best tour guide we could have had. 10/10 tour and I would definitely go again if we end up in Florence or the Tuscany region in the future!

Here I would like to thanks Matteo being our honored wine specialist and tour guide for the winery in Chianti. It was so nice to have such an enjoyable and relax trip to Florence. We can explore 3 different wineries and meet the winemakers and owners, face to face in learning how's the winemaking process and how to taste the wine in a professional way. I would highly recommend my friends to join here. We haven't got any pressure and rush to visit at all. Wine should be sharing and enjoying with such a nice environment and the ones being with u! We were two couples who booked this tour during our stay in Florence and it turned out to be a top highlight of our two weeks spent in Europe. If you are able to request a guide we highly recommend Matteo, he was knowledgeable about the wine and area but also made us feel very comfortable since we are certainly not wine experts. Our three stops included two smaller organic vineyards and one larger scale vineyard. All stops were incredible with wonderfully gracious hosts at each. Lunch at the second stop was incredible. I would recommend this tour to anyone in the Florence area.

What can we say - Pierpaolo our guide for the day exceeded all our expectations! His knowledge of the region and the wines produced in the area was outstanding. His English was magnificent as our Italian is terrible. The wineries we visited were beautiful and the staff at each location were very personable with again, great English (which helped with our experience). We would definitely come back and do another tour with them again, next time we’re in Florence. Our only regret is that we didn’t get a group photo with our guide Pierpaolo - our apologies!!

We met our tour guide Matteo, who gave us a brief rundown of the day's activities and the vineyards we would be visiting. During our ride, Matteo gave us further information about the region and the wines we would be tasting. His knowledge of the wine industry was excellent as was his English. We visited 3 very different vineyards - the first 2 being small family run estates and the 3rd one being one of the largest in Tuscany. All 3 were unique and presented some amazing wines. For us, the highlight of the tour was the Organic Winery - Tenuta Montiani where we stopped for lunch and enjoyed some amazing local food, all cooked by the owner of the Vineyard. He was a real character who loved to tell stories and kept us entertained. We highly recommend this small group tour - was the best tour of our 3-week Italian holiday.

The wine tour with Vittorio was, by far, the best experience of our time in Florence. He is a sommelier and extremely knowledgeable about not only the wine but also about the history of Florence and Tuscany. Our group of five had an incredible time at three different wineries – two small, family-run vineyards and one larger, more commercialized vineyard (Ruffino). All three were beautiful and the staff were friendly, informative, and welcoming. The lunch provided at the second winery was an intimate experience with the owner of the vineyard providing an incredible home-cooked traditional Italian meal and sitting with us, sharing stories and fellowship together. Vittorio spent the entire day with us, providing information on how to properly complete a wine tasting, information about the grapes of the area and the history of the production of the Chianti wine, as well as providing more information about the history of Tuscany. We could not recommend this tour more highly. It was absolutely the highlight of our trip. We already want to come back for another wine tour with Vittorio in Tuscany.

We decided last minute to do a wine tour and wow, I am so glad we did! I can't stop talking about it to our friends and family. Our first stop was to small winery where we sampled 5 wines, maybe more and I loved every sip. I learned so much about how to see, smell, and taste good wine. We learned about their wine making process and got some great pictures outside and with the wine barrels. We ended up purchasing a couple bottles for back home along with some amazing honey. Next we went to an even smaller, unique winery, had more wine, learned more about wine and had the best lunch in Italy. Not only did the host welcome us inside his home, have an amazing personality but his wine and food were out of this world too. I haven't had that good of a meal since. That was just an awesome experience. We bought even more wine and honey here. We just got our wine delivered and were so excited to share it with our friends and family and tell our stories all over again. Our last stop was at a large winery. Very cool to see the differences in how they make the wine. This Italy and Wine tour was hands down the best tour we did on our trip We loved all the winery's they picked out for the tour, and to boot, it didn't have a million tourist running around. Pierpaolo was super friendly and did a great job teaching us about wine.

This wine tour through Tuscany was absolutely incredible! Not only were the views and wines amazing, our guide Mateo was the best! He is so knowledgeable and taught us so much about the wine regions, how to taste wine and brought us to three very unique wineries! The best part was that it was such a small group, only 6 of us, so the tour was personal and intimate! We were able to meet the winemakers and even have lunch in one winemaker’s home. I liked the fact that our driver was not only our guide but has attained Italy’s highest rated Sommelier level as well! It was also nice to be a group of only 6 of us. And of course, each of the three wineries we visited had their own special appeal and style of wine production. The luncheon with Winemaker Misha at Tenuta Montiani was epic!

Topping off a special wedding anniversary trip to Florence for my wife and me was a fabulous Chianti wine tour with Vittorio. A professional sommelier and native of Florence, he was an exceptional host and provided us with much wine and local knowledge. In Italy it’s all about pairing wine with food, and Vittorio taught us how to engage our senses - sight, smell, taste - to make good choices. For the wine geek, Vittorio described the details of DOCG, IGT, wine making and viticulture specific to the Sangiovese grape, Chianti Classico, and Super Tuscans. In this tour, we focused on the Chianti Classico sub-region of Chianti. We visited 3 wineries ranging from a small family operation to a large well-known winery. A delicious home-made lunch featuring traditional Tuscan fare was served at the family winery with wine poured by the winemaker. Small bites were provided at the other wineries during tastings to also illustrate the pairings (vegetarian bites can be requested). We purchased bottles during the tour and arranged with the last winery to ship all of them home. As a bonus some of the wineries also grew olives, and we learned about extra virgin olive oil production. Vittorio navigated the mini-van through the sometimes bumpy Chianti roads and narrow village streets with ease. With only four members and Vittorio, the tour group was small and intimate. We were paired with a delightful and engaging young couple from Australia. We highly recommend Vittorio's tours and will definitely book another with him the next time in Tuscany.

Booked two shared wine tours through Italy and Wine on our recent trip to Florence - The first covered Vino Nobile di Montepulciano and the second, Chianti Classico and SuperTuscans. Without a doubt the best experience of our trip! Although we are knowledgeable wine enthusiasts, we had little previous exposure to these wines beyond the few that are exported to the US/California. Vittorio, who led our Chianti Classico tour and his colleague, Matteo, who led the Vino Nobile tour, are experienced sommeliers with deep knowledge and understanding of the wine and food culture of Tuscany. Each tour was a fabulous, informative, and immersive experience with a superlative mid-day meal at one of the three wineries visited. A true feast for the senses. Sensational value. Would definitely do it again. If planning on booking several tours through Italy and Wine, make sure to give yourself time in between each one to get the most from each tour experience. You won't be disappointed!

Our wine tour with the delightful Vittorio was easily one of the best moments of our honeymoon in Italy. We visited three beautiful vineyards across Tuscany, and in between stops, Vittorio shared fascinating insights about the region and its winemaking traditions.

At the first winery, he guided us through a detailed and hands-on wine tasting lesson. Although we’ve done many tastings before, this was the first time someone explained every step — from observation to aroma to the full palate experience — with such clarity. It completely changed the way we appreciate wine! The other couple on our tour, seasoned Napa visitors, felt exactly the same.

The second stop offered breathtaking views of the Tuscan countryside and an incredible homemade lunch that was both authentic and abundant. Finally, our visit to the historic Ruffino estate was the perfect ending — beautiful grounds, rich history, and, of course, outstanding wines.
