What to expect
This wine tour half-day goes to the Chianti wine region, which is just 30 mins away from Florence. Chianti is the land for red wine enthusiasts and will lead you to discover two unique boutique wineries. You will explore one of the finest wineries in the heart of the Chianti region, receiving an up-close look at the production and aging process of Chianti wines provided with an in-depth explanation by a wine expert. You will taste Chianti Classico Docg, Chianti Classico Riserva Docg, and Super Tuscan IGT.
Authentic Tuscan lunch at the second winery, where you can sample typical Tuscan dishes such as bruschetta, meats, cheeses, and various pasta or vegetable soup. Wine will be the perfect pairing for this food and the opportunity to purchase and ship Tuscan wines worldwide.
One of the wineries also produces extra virgin olive oil, and you will enjoy a tasting of olive oil run by an expert to understand the quality of this product.

- Infant and children are not allowed on shared tours. (infant age 1-3 yrs)

My husband and I had such a lovely day at the Chianti half-day tour! Our guide Giulia was not only a pro on wine in general, but also a delightful company and a great driver as well. We visited two wineries and had lots of food and wine, specially on the second one (Il Bacio), where we had the opportunity to have lunch with the owner and learn a lot about their routine, life and history. Overall it was an amazing experience. I strongly recommend anyone visiting Firenze to go on this tour and meet the amazing italian countryside.
