An excellent wine tour that I'd recommend without hesitation. Paolo, our driver, was on time and professional, and he shared his knowledge and obvious love of Italy with great generosity. He turned a day of vineyard visits into far more than a ride between stops, telling stories and history that made the country come alive. San Gimignano was a lovely addition and a town we'd gladly revisit. The wineries poured fantastic wine and served good food too. If you're hesitating, take this as your cue to book: you won't regret it.

A terrific day. Our guide Niccolo, a sommelier, knew the region's wines extremely well and gave us real insight into everything we tasted. We started in lovely San Gimignano, beautiful on the drive from Florence and even better once there, with its shops and views. Lunch at Corbucci came with excellent Vernaccia and Sangiovese matched to each course. The last stop, the boutique winery Fontaleoni, was our favorite: we toured the cellar before the tasting, tried aged Vernaccia for the first time, and the owner even let us taste an excellent Rosé afterwards. A perfect day with a perfect guide. We came for the wine but fell for the countryside around San Gimignano. Thank you Niccolo, and thank you to the whole team.
