Description
This estate of ancient traditions is runned by
a team of women like few to be seen in the wine sector. Aided by
her daughters, Anna and Margherita, Simona Ruggeri Fabroni has dedicated
herself for years with care and competence to the exploitation and
marketing of high-quality wines. Located in the vicinity of Abbadia
di Montepulciano, the estate owns 12 hectares of vineyards on medium-blend
soils that have a south-west exposure, at an altitude of 300-350
meters and tufaceous-pebbly soils. The vines, which are cultivated
according to the Guyot method, have a low trunk that is erect and
self-supporting. The yeld of grapes varies between 50 and 75 quintals
per hectare. The spacious ancient underground cellars house vats
for the wine-making, as well as small- and medium sized casks made
of French oak. We higly recommend the Vino Nobile and the Poldo.
