Wine tasting classes take place in Florence and the objective
of the wine tasting course, which we organize in English, is to
help participants approach the marvellous world of wine through
a comprehensive programme based on the first-hand experience of
tasting numerous wines.
1 Day Course
Level 1 Introductory
Lesson are in English and starts with the fundamental wine tasting
techniques. You’ll be learning about tasting of DOCG Chianti
Classico, Brunello di Montalcino, Nobile di Montepulciano and some
of the most important Super Tuscan as well.
Classes are approximately three hours long and are located in Florence
where we’ll take you. No previous knowledge required.
Meets: Every Monday and Friday in Our office
at 10.00 a.m. Length: 3 hours Cost: 155 Euro per person.
The price includes wine course and tastings. Accommodation is not
included but we can provide a list of hotels.

WINE TASTING PROGRAM
We will talk about:
Winemaking in Tuscany
King Sangiovese
The areas of wine in Tuscany
Influences of land and weather
Modernity and tradition.
We’ll have a little pause, talking about some little knowledges
of wine tasting, then we’re going to taste together 6 big
red dry wine:
Chianti with no specific zone, Morellino di Scansano, Chianti Classico,
Rosso di Montalcino, Brunello di Montalcino, Nobile di Montepulciano
and 1 Bolgheri.
And after that… Tuscany wines are in your pocket!
Our
wine educator is Elena Capobianco, Wine Education Manager
of Marchesi de’ Frescobaldi, Matura Holding, and she’s
also a consultant for several wineries. She planned our wine education,
and she is at your disposal for any change or information.
