country where you can sample some of the best wines made. Our aim
is to take the hassle out of your vacation to Italy enabling you
to enjoy our fantastic wines without having to worry about driving.
Vittorio has a background in wine tasting, and food & wine journalism
and has extensive wine knowledge, and contacts at all these local
wineries.
Vittorio personally guides each wine tour, providing an unobtrusive
commentary, plus he provides detailed written tasting notes and
information on all wines and wineries.
Mario Piccinin
Mario
is a certified Italian Sommelier (AIS)
and Master Cheese Taster (ONAF).
His background also includes a degree in the Science of Food Production
from the University of Bologna. Mario, a native of Milan, has lived
in the Veneto for 35 years, and his grandmother was from the Canareggio
sestiere of Venice.
He is an experienced wine educator, and particularly
enjoys the wine tasting seminars he regularly organizes for the
U.S. diplomatic corps in Italy. In the past Mario led a seminar
on Italian wine and food for the undergraduate students of Boston
University studying in Padova. He also works as a travel consultant,
specializing the wine and food of the Veneto, Friuli and Trentino
Alto-Adige.
Davide Cellamare
"Italy
is the best land for wines". Davide tells to everybody. He
is an official italian wine tester with many years of activity.
He's a professionist of the sector and he likes staying with people.
Some months ago he became oils tester and he also teach how to taste
it. Wine and oil are his very true love. He says: "A bottle
of wines is like a very good friend: he doesn't leave you in any
time".
Lisa Cesaretto
Is
a young tourist consultant, she lives in Veneto and knows every
little thing about the surroundings.
After having earned a degree in Tourist Sciences she improved her
knowledge of foreing languages and worked as a museum-expert operator
and as a tourist guide.
She now creates tailor-made itineraries even about no-conventional
touristy places and particularly loves getting in touch with “friends”
coming from all over the world fascinated about Italy.
She says: “I love my land and I’m glad to work "cheek
to cheek" together with people who require my assistance, I’m
happy to share with them my deep love for its unique history, fine
arts and good cooking!”
Lives
in Florence since 1998 and works as a freelance interpreter and
translator from Japanese into Italian and vice versa.
The first approach to the world of wine was the participation of
‘course of formation for technical operator of enoturismo
(wine tourism)’ in Siena in 2002. This experience gave her
an urge to know more about wine and now she frequents a professional
sommelier's course.
Italy is a fantastic country to visit. It is a pleasure to her to
assist people in enjoying the trip with smile.
