Prosecco Wine Tour
The Prosecco region is a picturesque area that lies just an hour’s drive northeast of Venice itself.
The excursion to the Prosecco hills takes us northeast of Venice, through the countryside near Valdobbiadene. Here you visit with your personal guide, that is a certificate sommelier, one of the top wine producers where we learn about the traditional production methods, followed by a guided wine tasting. Next you stop for lunch at one of the most historic Frasche, which are simple rustic trattorias, specializing in the simple local cuisine. You continue on your journey, stopping to visit a second cantina, to experience the small, family-run wines production that is so very important to this area, followed by a wine tasting.
Prosecco is one of the most famous sparkling wines produced in Italy, and is well known for its fruity aromas and its charming unpretentiousness. In the Veneto, the locals pair their beloved Prosecco with many types of dishes, and on its own for a pleasant aperitivo. The appreciation of this wines lovely bubbles and honest character has spread to the rest of Italy, Europe and further abroad.

- 09.30 a.m. Departure from your location
- 10.30 a.m. Arrival at the first winery and visit the Villa Maria winery and wine tasting.
- 01.00 p.m. Light lunch at the local restaurant( if is required) or in a winery.
- 02.30 p.m Scenic drive through the hills where you can see the different type of vineyard.
- 03.00 p.m. We stop at the Marsuret winery for visiting and wine tasting.
- 04:30 p.m. Return to Venice
- 06:00 p.m. End of trip.
