Euganean Hills Wine Tour
There are 13 wines with the “Colli Euganei” denomination: the White, with its typical straw-yellow colour and jasmine scent, the Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon reds, the elegant Chardonnay, the Fior d’Arancio, the super sweet yellow Moscato, the Merlot, the pleasantly fresh and lively Novello, the dry Pinello, White Pinot, Red Wine, the sparkling Serprino and the Tocai Italico. Shared tour option is not available!
This is the program
- 10.00 a.m. Departure from your location
- 11.00 a.m. Arrival at Arquà Petrarca and visit the small village
- 11.30 a.m. Visit to the winery Fattoria Cà Lustra. Where you can visit the vineyards and the cellar, finally wine tasting.
- 13.00 p.m. Light lunch at the local restaurant( if is required) or in a winery.
- 02.30 p.m. Walking along the Fattoria Vignalta vineyards at Arquà Petrarca where you can meet the wine grower who will show you the techniques of viticulture
- 04.30 p.m. Visit the cellars of Fattoria Vignalta and wine tasting.

Ciao from Florida! I am sorry it has taken me so long to write this letter, but things were just so hectic at home and at work upon our return from our trip.
I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for our private tour of the Euganei Hills wine region on August 22, 2010. Although we were in Italy for 6 days and on a Mediterranean cruise for 2 weeks, I can honestly say that day was easily on of the top highlights of our trip. Your attention to detail was extraordinary. Selecting one small, family winery and one larger, more commercial winery truly gave us a chance to see (and taste!) wine from different perspectives. We thoroughly enjoyed both wineries we visited. The hospitality provided to us was unforgettable.
Likewise, your choice of a place for lunch was superb. Lunch was easily one of the best meals we had in Italy. Thank you for your guidance in navigating the menu and for information on other menu items. We just wish we had you to pick all of our meals during our trip!
Finally, your generous and welcoming style made the tour enjoyable. We have had several private tours where the subject was interesting, but the guide was a bore. You made everything interesting for us and didn’t seem to mind doing it. Your service was exceptional and we will never forget our trip – especially the day we spent with you.
