Wine lessons

Available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays all year round. No previous wine knowledge is required.

This is a good opprtunity to get know Tuscan wines better. The course is held in English by a bilingual wine professional Sommelier. You will taste 5 great wines during each lesson.

Wine tasting classes take place in Florence and the objective of the wine tasting course is to help participants approach the marvellous world of wine through a comprehensive programme based on the first-hand experience of tasting numerous wines.

Tuscan Wines

Lesson is in English and starts with the fundamental wine tasting techniques. You’ll be learning about tasting of Chianti DOCG, Chianti Classico DOCG, Chianti Classico Reserve DOCG, Rosso di Montepulciano DOC, and Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG.
No previous knowledge required
The class is guaranteed from a minimum of two students up to 8.

Meets: Every Tuesdays, Wendesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays in Florence at 5.30 a.m.
Length: 2 hours
Cost: 50 Euro per person.

THE WINE TASTING PROGRAM

We will talk about:

• Winemaking in Tuscany
• King Sangiovese
• The areas of wine in Tuscany
• Influences of land and weather
• Modernity and tradition.

We’ll have a little pause, talking about some little knowledges of wine tasting, then we’re going to taste together 5 red dry wine:
IGT of Tuscany, Chianti Colli Fiorentini, Chianti Classico, Chianti Classico Reserve, Nobile di Montepulciano, and Brunello di Montalcino.

And after that… Tuscany wines are in your pocket!

Our wine educator is Vittorio Del Bono, Wine Education Manager and she’s also a consultant for several wineries. He planned our wine education, and he is at your disposal for any change or information.
