Chianti Experiences
On Tuesday from mid of April until October This is a new tour that I have designed for people
who are interested in discovering the gastronomic delights of Tuscany.
The area is South of Florence and the tour will include a quick
stop in a medieval hamlet famous for Chianti Classico DOCG wine.
We will be going to an artisan wine maker to see how the famous
Chianti is made. After that you are going to taste different type
of red wines. Then it will be time to taste the typical extra vergin
olive oil.

This is the program for the day
- 10.00 a.m. Departure from Florence.
- 10.30 a.m. Arrival at the wine maker and visit the cellar and wine tasting.
- 01.00 p.m. Light lunch in a local winery set in a medieval hamlet.
- 03.00 p.m. Stop in a farm where you could see olive groves and have an olive oil tasting.
- 04.30 p.m. Return to Florence at approx. 5 p.m.
Price is 120,00 Eur per person
Price includes:
- Olive oil tasting
- Winery visit along whit wine tasting (Chianti DOCG and Supertuscan IGT)
- Tuscan light lunch in a winery (or restaurant if winery is not
available)
- Stop in a medieval hamlet

My friend and I had a day tour with Vittorio in April 2010. The day was PHENOMENAL, such a wonderful experience. We learned so much, not just about the vineyards we visited, wine tasting and the wines of the region, but an unexpected amount of history and culture about Florentines, their foods, everything. The staff at both vineyards we visited were incredibly pleasant and personable and the views were breathtaking.
I spent 10 days in Italy and took a number of tours, this was probably one of my favorite days. I would highly recommend Vittorio and his company. We were treated so well and were so appreciative of the service and the experience.

Cancellations up to 7 days before the date are subject to a Euro 20 per
person as administration fee.
Cancellations within 7 days of the date are charged 50% of the full amount.
