Fattoria di Corsignano Description
Fattoria di Corsignano is a farmhouse in the Black
Rooster Chianti Classico area, just a breath away from Siena. It is a
22 hectare property, comprised of woods, olive graves and vineyards. Ten
hectares are dedicated to the production of wine and two hectares to olives.
The yearly production is of 40.000 bottles of: Chianti Classico, Grappa,
Vinsanto, Olive Oil. By producing wine made with only local Tuscan grapes
Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Colorino. All the processes are made by hand and
scrupulously carried out. The selection of grapes done by eye, and accurate
enological decisions give birth to a complete and refined wine. It is
the knowledge of the old wine masters and the use of modern techniques
which makes the product unique.

Tasting Notes:
Dry, full body, soft tannins, well balanced.
Grape varieties:
95% Sangiovese grapes and 5% Tuscan Canaiolo.
Food Pairings:
We suggest to serve at 18° C. Good with noodles with traditional
ragù, grilled meat, seasoned cheese.
