San Gimignano and Chianti wine Tour

I have designed this tour for people who are interested in discovering the red of Tuscany along with the famous white Vernaccia di San Gimignano. You will be guided in a full day excursion to visit a small winery in Chianti area. Here you will have a great chance to talk with the owner who will explain all the secrets of this wine. According to the number of participants we can also stop in the winery for a light lunch. In the afternon I will drive to the second winery which is located right off San Giminiano. This area is known for the Vernaccia di San Gimignano which is a white wine made from grapes grown around on the hill side of this famous town. Check the available date !

This is the program for the day

  • 10:00 a.m. Departure from Florence.
  • 10:30 a.m. Arrival in a small family owned winery and visit the vineyard and cellar.
  • 01:00 p.m. Light lunch in the winery set in a medieval hamlet.
  • 02.00 p.m. Drive to San Gimignano where we will stop for a wine tasting of Vernaccia (white wine).
  • 2:45 p.m. Quick visit to the town of San Gimignano where you will have a little time to shop for local products.
  • 04:30 p.m. Return to Florence at approx. 5/6 p.m.

(Wineries are only suggested, and may be substituted at anytime based on group size and tastingroom availability.)

Price is 120,00 Eur per person

Price includes:
- Two wine tasting in two different wineries
- Winery and vineyard visit.
- Tuscan light lunch in a winery (or restaurant if winery is not available)
- Stop in a medieval hamlet
- Quick visit to the town of San Gimignano

Space is limited, so we suggest booking in advance. The tour will go ahead with 3 or more persons. Check availability !

Cancellations before 48 hours of the tour date will be charged 50% of the full amount.
Cancellations within 48 hours of the tour date will be charged 100% of the full amount.
We charge in full for no shows.
