The most famous of all Tuscan wines is Chianti,
a red wine produced in the Chianti region. Chianti is made from
the Sangiovese grape, which has elements of summer fruit and spices,
and varies greatly in quality. There is a distinction between Chianti
and Chianti Classico –
wines from the latter being produced in a region known for producing
‘Chianti’ prior to the new 1932 classification. It is
often felt that these wines are of a higher standard.
We suggest a guided tour in a mixed group with
other wine enthusiasts and you can be guided in a full day excursion
to the heart of the Chianti Classico
area. Ride through the beautiful hills of Chianti area, visits,
light lunch and tastings in 2 best wineries. You have the chance
to taste the Docg as well as Igt "supertuscan" wines.Check scheduled days !
