Cooking Course with Francesca

Francesca, a professional cook, with her extensive cooking and teaching experience, both in Italy and overseas, will be glad to share her knowledge and skills with you, as well as her passion for her hometown Florence, where she grew up among a “pizzicagnolo” grand father, who instilled in her the appreciation for the simple but full typical tastes of Tuscan food, and an excellent cook for a mother, from whom she learned the art of preparing interesting meals for a large family as an easy and enjoyable task. She will guide you in the preparation of a typical Tuscan meal in a fun and informative way. You will learn about what makes a wholesome meal, as well as getting an insight on different cooking techniques that help professionals in their job. At the end of the class you will sit down to enjoy the food you have prepared, accompanied by suitable wine. Buon appetito!

Choose from one of the ready-made menus, or make your own by picking one dish from each of the two courses making up your meal. All menus come with a vegetable dish chosen according to seasonal availability of produce and a surprise appetizer and dessert.

Cooking classes last about four hours and they can be held both at our premises or, if you prefer, at your place of stay.*
